Guide: Resources

Share

Resources are artefacts that have been uploaded for use within the CTO Operating System. They are input documents or data, typically in markdown format so that they can be used by both humans and agents without alteration.

When in markdown, block quoted (starting with '>') sections are used to provide information and instructions to the human users, with agents being specifically told to ignore block quoted sections.

| This is what a block quoted section looks like in Resources, ignored by agents.

Resources are in lower case and use underscores '_' to delimit individual words for be compatibility across platforms, applications and usage.

Each Resource is versioned.

Sharing Scope

Resources have a sharing scope, which can be either:

  • Public - Information that I publicly make available, both in terms of reference or my own information for template usage, for sharing with humans or for inputs into AI agents. These come with real world information. culture.md is an example of a publicly sharable Profile Resource
  • Public with Redactions - A Public version of a private scope with redactions. Public versions are made available with (TBC) and instructions for completion for humans. situation.md is an example of this
  • Public with Synthetic Data - Information that I don't make available to anyone else, but I use for inputs into AI agents. Public versions are made available with synthetic information. challenges.md is an example of this
